Was expecting it to be a fairly entertaining game but it turned out the same way every other recent England friendly has - dull. I really must ask the question - what is the point of these games at this stage of the season? I can understand a friendly during the close season or in between a big break between qualifying matches or something to keep players fresh but this was a joke game. Far too many players on both sides just concentrating on not getting injured rendered the second half pointless and turned it into an exhibition game. Spare us next time please.
