Man Utd started the game brightly and some fans must have been worried after Rooney and Ronaldo were left on the bench but Rio Ferdinand somehow played the full 90 minutes, Pique started alongside Rio while Silvestre took the left back position, even club captain Gary Neville came on later and the fans showed their appreciation and for all the rumors of fans turning against Ryan Giggs he showed tonight what he still can do with some excellent work and crosses.
Owen Hargreaves has once again proved my hunch right, he has a sweet right foot and his crosses are way better than any of Utd’s rightbacks and one of his cross led to the goal as Tevez stooped low to head the ball in.

Man Utd will now play Barcelona in the semis and what a match that is going to be!, if Messi recovers in time we could very well be treated to a Rooney/Ronaldo v.s Eto’o/Messi treat, and not to mention Nani, Henry, Bojan and more.
