Dennis Bergkamp Do you remember Arsenal’s Dennis Bergkamp? well if you don’t, your either not alive or you were born yesterday, i’m guessing that name must at least rings a bell.

Bergkamp was one the best srtikers to play in the “hole” position just like Wayne Rooney now at Man Utd, i remember his deft touches very well and my greatest memory of him is that goal against Argentina at the 1998 World Cup.

But just in case you need to refresh your memory i have included a video below.

The last time anyone of us saw the non-flying Dutchman was the testimonial game for him at the launching of the Emirates Stadium against an Ajax legends team, nearly two years ago. Little has been heard or seen of him since.

But he’s back, not as a footy player but back in the radar as he aims to complete a coaching course,a fast-track coaching diploma for former players from the Netherlands.

The Dutchman has not cured his fear of flying, which stems back nearly 15 years, so will be allowed to study in London under Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager, rather than attend lessons at the Dutch FA in Zeist, east of Utrecht. Bergkamp qualifies for the fast-track scheme - Johan Cruyff also graduated from the course - because he has the necessary requirement of more than 50 caps. He retired from international football after the 2000 European Championship, having scored a record 37 goals in 79 appearances for Holland.

Check out the Video below, you will see that goal i mentioned above (against Argentina), but you’ll probably be laughing your socks off at the commentator who seemed to have experienced footy orgasm at the sight of Bergkamp’s goal.:
