Stoke City have signed Southampton defender Andrew Davies and Ipswich have agreed a fee with Newcastle for striker Shola Ameobi.
Emmanuel Adebayor has signed a new long-term deal at Arsenal, and Wenger has called on the Arsenal fans to all get behind him this season. It did seem at one point that Adebayor was pining for a move to Barcelona or Milan, but obviously now he will be staying put at the Emirates stadium.
In slightly more interesting news, if not complete tripe, Chelsea have been told it will take £70 million to bring Kaka to Stamford Bridge. I don’t know about anyone else, but even as a Man Utd fan I would love to see a player like Kaka in the Premiership. It seems a waste that he is playing in Serie A, when he could be watched by millions every week in England.
