Andrei Shevchenko has finally put his Chelsea-hell behind him by resigning with Italian giants AC Milan. Shevchenko will sign a contract with Milan subject to passing a medical in the next few days.
Bolton manager Gary Megson has admitted that the club are interesting in buying Fulham’s unsettled midfielder Jimmy Bullard. Megson was interested in Championship side Reading’s James Harper, but it appeared that Steve Copell was unwilling to let Harper leave. Now with Fulham seemingly unwilling to offer a new contract to Bullard, Megson is hoping to prise away the central midfield star. In my eyes this would be a massive coup for Bolton, as I feel Bullard is a hugely under-estimated player who would bring a lot to a club like Bolton.
According to todays tabloids, Manchester United have made a final £25 million take-it-or-leave-it bid for the troubled Dmitar Berbatov. The player was left out of the squad for the weekends game against Sunderland, with manager Ramos stating that Berbatov was not in the right frame of mind to play for the team.
