Andorra are currently holding England 0-0 at half-time, with England enjoying nearly all of the possession but are still without any goals. Here are 5 observations made from the game:

1. With Beckham on the bench, no-one in the England team can cross the ball (perhaps maybe Lampard, when he wants to).

2. That said, Theo Walcott has been a breath of fresh air when compared to Beckham or Bentley. Walcott has been running at defenders and has been at the source of all decent England opportunities, and is also guilty of missing one of their best chances. But he has been the most exciting England player by far.

3. David James is a lonely man. Andorra are here to defend, and would obviously settle for a point. Whenever England have the ball Andorra have 11 men behind the ball, and England are struggling at times to play through them.

4. The fans took about 30 minutes to start to turn on the England players. After just a few minutes England looked bound to score, but inevitably they didn’t and as the game once again drags on, the supporters start to loose their enthusiasm and begin to boo any over-hit passes (which have mainly come from the wide-men, and John Terry).

5. England fans hate Setanta Sports. Probably due to the fact that they prevented the England matches being shown on the BBC, as you now have to subscribe to Setanta to be able to watch the away England matches for the World Cup qualifiers.
