Fabio Capello faces his toughest test as the manager of England when his players play against a very technical and organised Croatian side in Zagreb tonight.
After overcoming a highly defensive Andorra team at the weekend by a 2-goal margin, the manager knows he will be in for a far more challenging evening when lining up against Slaven Billic and company.
Croatia’s last game resulted in a 3-0 win against another very-average Kazakstan side, and they too will be well aware of the threat of England under the management of Capello.
England will have a pretty-much full strength squad to pick from tonight, obviously apart from Steven Gerrard who wasn’t included due to injury. Capello will have a tough decision regarding playing a very attack minded and talented Theo Walcott, or a more established and experienced David Beckham. It also appears that Glen Johnson will make way for a more defensive Wes Brown at right-back. It remains to be seen whether Joe Cole will be included from the start, despite his brace at the weekend.
