Any football fan who also has Sky TV will no doubt be aware of Jeff Stelling, host of an immensely popular and entertaining show dedicated to broadcasting a running commentary of all football-league action on Saturdays - a program unsuprisingly named Soccer Saturday.

Stelling has become a bit of a legend, but today it has been announced that he will be the next Countdown host - replacing Des O’Conner. Unfortunately Carol Voderman has also been replaced with a maths graduate called Rachel Riley. Many people believe that this will be the end of Jeff’s stint as host of Soccer Saturday, having to film a show which runs 5 days a week and then having to do Soccer Saturday and other Sky Sports commitments.

However it has been announced that Jeff Stelling will not be leaving Soccer Saturday - at least for now. If the Hartlepool-mad Jeff was ever to leave the show, who (if any) would be the best replacement? Feel free to leave your suggestions below…
