Bit of a strange move for Barry in my opinion, perhaps Liverpool no longer want him? Anyway, Gareth Barry has joined Manchester City in a £12 million transfer from Aston Villa.
Last season Villa were apparently asking for £18 million for Barry when Liverpool were interested, but it seems that Martin O’Neill will let Barry go, and has let him go, for just £12 million.

Think this will be a good move for City, a bad move by Villa (although perhaps Barry just didn’t want to stay at the club anymore), and it could be a good move for Barry depending on who else comes into the club during the summer…
