Lionel Messi hit back at his Ballon D’Or snub this week by scoring a fantastic solo goal for Barcelona against Getafe in the Copa Del Rey.
The goal by Messi, his second of the game, put Barca into a 2-0 lead, a scoreline which they saw through to the end.
Messi will be hoping for a good 2014 to win back the Ballon D’Or from rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
Up next for Barca is a visit to Levante on Sunday.
