Juventus Boss Banned For Match Fixing

Juventus manager Antonio Conte has been banned for 10 months for alleged match fixing dating back to the scandal that rocked Italian football just over a year ago with previous club Siena.

Conte has since been installed as the Juventus boss, and last season won Serie A without losing a single match. The Old Lady will have to do without their boss heading into the new 2012/2013 season.

The possible signing of Robin Van Persie from Arsenal looks likely to stall with the Italian giants instead looking at installing a replacement for the banned Conte.
