Daniel Agger tried his own George Best impersonation last night in the UEFA Europa League match against Russian giants Anzhi Makhachkala. Liverpool were leading 1-0 through a Stewart Downing goal before Agger tried to cheekily head the ball from the Anzhi goalkeeper’s hand before he kicked, volleying into the empty net – only for the referee to blow for a foul – and book the Danish defender.
