liverpool new stadium Liverpool has announced the proposed developement of a new stadium to replace Anfield and it will be in Stanley Park, with the capacity of 60,000 and will costs £300 million. The ground is scheduled to open in 2010 and has been designed to allow future expansion to a capacity of 78,000, dependent on improvements in the local transport infrastructure.

I don’t know why but this new stadium just reminds me of Arsenal‘s new stadium and how the team has begun to split after some ex-players echoing sentiments that money was spent more on the stadium rather than bringing in new players.
