Obviously AVB was impressed enough with the qualities of Emmanuel Adebayor with the Toga international re-joining Spurs on what looks like a permanent deal.
Tottenham have greatly appreciated having Adebayor leading the line for the club last season and have looked lacking up front so the signing of Adebayor from Man City has always been a priority for them, with the player costing them as little as £5 million which seems to be a bargain.
The details of the wages haven’t been announced but its likely that Man City will still be paying a contribution to push the transfer through, in order to have him taken off the wage bill at the Etihad Stadium.
