Mobile phone apps are all the rage these days, and thankfully for football fans there are many apps available to play to give us our daily input of footy news or footy info.
The kinds of football apps that are currently on the Google Android through the Play Store, Apple’s iTunes app store, and the Blackberry’s own market are usually a mix between football knowledge quizes, basic football games, football management games, fantasy football games and of course football betting apps. If you’ve not already seen Ray Winstone’s huge and slightly aged, leathery face rotating on a TV screen and shouting at you to download the latest William Hill app then you’re probably either blind or too posh to own a TV. It seems that we can’t get enough of these apps and of mobile betting in general, and so its likely these football applications will be around for a very long time indeed.
On this page of Footy Blog we’ll be taking a look at some of the latest football apps to be released on the Google, Apple and Blackberry store. Where possible we’ll try and get hold of a review copy and let you know what we think of the app. We’d welcome other people’s reviews and opinions on the apps we review, and perhaps of any that we might have missed. If you’d like to get in touch with us to recommend your own favourite app, perhaps you’re a developer or just a huge fan of football, let us know any of your recommendations.
If you’d like to send us a review copy of an app or to make a recommendation on one you’d like us to review then get in touch with us from our contact page. We’ll try to get back to you as soon as possible!
