Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo looks set to continue with his clubs spending and transition period with the signing of Brazilian international Oscar from Internacional. The 20 year old midfielder has been attracting a lot of attention in recent weeks, whilst the Brazilian club’s president Giovanni Luigi has announced he would be willing to let the starlet go, but only for the right price. He wants Oscar to become a record brazilian transfer fee, with Chelsea needing to stump up around £25 million to secure his services.
It’s been a busy transfer period for Chelsea so far, and I expect it to continue throughout pre-season. So far Kalou and Drogba have left, but I’d expect the likes of Bosingwa, Malouda and Ferreira to follow suit. They’ve already signed Marko Marin and Eden Hazard, two top players if reports are to be believed.
