England are out of the Euro’s so I’ve decided to take a look at which players might be featuring at the next big event, the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
I’ve picked my selection of players, I’ve probably forgotten a few but I’m pretty confident of my choices. The only one I have slight doubt with is Adam Johnson – I think he desperately needs games to reach his potential, Roberto Mancini doesn’t seem to be a big fan of his (perhaps his work rate or ability to track-back) but I think he could be a huge player for the team. I don’t think we’ve solved the left-sided problem with Ashley Young as he’s too inconsistent for me, he went missing in large portions of the Euro’s (fair to say Rooney did too but I think for different reasons).
