In the past couple of days i’ve been blogging a lot about transfers. but that is normal since it’s the off-season but the team that has been making the big moves is Man Utd so i am delighted that there’s finally a transfer news for Arsenal FC.
Reports are in that Arsene Wenger will try to rope in Auxerre’s 24-year-old Bakari Sagna for £6million, despite the French club wanting him for “another year”.
Sagna was called up to the France squad for the first time for Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Ukraine in Paris and although he did not play, he could feature against Georgia on Wednesday.
Sagna could be moved to central defence with William Gallas and as always Wenger has gone for a “low” profile player but as we’ve seen in the past he does have the talent of scouting young potential and turning them to stars.
