Sir Alex has finally confirmed Man Utd’s intrest in Villarreal’s midfielder Marcos Senna.
Senna was part of the Spanish team in the World Cup but didn’t have the chance to shine.
Now considering that Utd missed their chance to sign Patrick Viera, Senna will very much be 2nd rated.
If Ferguson is serious about bringing a midfield hardman to bolster Utd’s midfield than i believe he should have snap up Viera, cause Senna is just about the same age as Viera (30) and compared to the Frenchman he is pretty much lesser known and experienced.
In the meantime Michael Carrick is set to make his debut against Porto in the Amsterdam Tournament on Friday night.

Honestly..
I dont think Vieira was a very realistic option because of a certain Gary Neville who has a loathing for all things Liverpool or Arsenal.
Mascherano would be my pick as I believe Senna can only be a temporary option given that he’s 30.
