First of all rafa has been a good manager but i feel he has lost the dressing room at Liverpool.Also he has brought alot of this on him self.
He selects teams (this season) not to loose games,but at the same time not to win games.Its this negative style of football that has brought our down fall,we either go 1 nil down then start attacking or take the lead then sit back.I noticed this started in pre season then the very first game of the season ,then rafa starts blaming refs again .But the facts are he has not motivated that team to go out and play good solid football.
This hurts to say but we are a poor passing team,Kyut can not pass to a team mate to save his life.He along with N gogg,Lucas,Maxi,Insua need to go along with any other fat over paid players we have.Also is Carrahger an untouchable or something? he has been a great servant for the club ,but he has cost us at least 6 points this season.If we never had Pepe Reina ,i bear to think where we would be.
Last point is Man u are not that much better ,they seem to have got by this season on biased refs ,fergie time and lots of luck.If they had rooney out for long periods they would struggle big time.

rafa has achieved so much at l f c the managers are not the ones who go on the pitch and kick the ball that is what the players are paid for when the players are under achieving its always the managers who have to take the flakwhen the club are doing well the managers are said to be the great one when they are not they turn on them where is the wonderful support of all lfc true fans a true fan sticks with their team in good times and bad liverpool WILL becomegreat again give him another season to prove he is the best thing that has happened in a long timehe is a passionate man when man u had a bad season you never heard the fans wating to sack sir alex come on you true reds stick by and support our manager rafa benitezthe players trust him so shoulld we all

i would love to see hiddink takeover as manager.As far as i can see rafas time is up,he is too stubbon,has the worst scouts,and has waisted to much money and then complaines that he needs more.I know that fans are not happy with the yanks and i agree,but!! If you was the owner would you give rafa more money after seeing hes buys?Rafa would rather buy a player with a broken leg for 20mil and pass up on that ex portsmouth player who has gone to spurs for no more then 5mil and then scores a cracking hat trick.He has no intrest of giving the youngsters a fair go,we got amoo,eccelston,dallavalle,kelly,darby,dani pacheicco,spearing and who would he rather play?….LUCAS!And the thing is if someone told him he seems so hard headed he would still do it hes way rather then change it.Dont get me wrong i am not a football manager,but even ray charles could see hes whole system,formation,back room staff(not sammy lee),scouts,is wrong.liverpool needs to rebuild and i back Hiddink,O Neal,Mc Leish

After today’s debacle, it’s highly likely that Benitez will be sacked at the end of the season or possibly earlier. Whilst he’s won a European Cup, you could argue it was with Gérard Houllier’s team. He’s only won one trophy since then – an FA Cup in 2006. This is simply not good enough especially after all the money he’s spent.

The side is in freefall and Aquilani looks like a monumental waste of money too. Apart from the odd fancy back heel, Aquilani’s injury prone, has got no pace, no drive and absolutely no physical presence at this level. An extremely expensive error of judgement on Benitez’s part.

Whilst the side is weaker than last year, they should be doing much better. There’s obviously a great deal happening behind the scenes which we’re not privy too. I don’t think the players have confidence in Benitez anymore.

But who should replace him? Jürgen Klinsmann would be an absolute disaster as a manager. He’s worse than f**king useless. The problem is that any good manager wouldn’t touch Liverpool with a barge pole at present due to their financial woes.

Souness recently stated that the club is near meltdown. He’s possibly right. Nonetheless, it’s a bit rich coming from him especially considering the fact that he was largely responsible for Liverpool’s downfall in the first place!

^^ u appear to be scared of change, just because Rafa has done great things for Liverpool in the past does not mean that he will contine to do so forever. I do think that it is early days, but his sacking should not be wiped off the table IMO.

I dont know how anybody possibly suggest that Rafa should be sacked? He has managed and won more games for Liverpool in Europe than any other manager and in the space of just one season, did something that took Ferguson over a decade to do- win the European Cup. And before any Mancs get excited about Liverpool’s recent demise, just take a look at the table. The team at the top will come out tops, not United.

Just because United are better in every way than Liverpool. Granted they did play every well against united, they just don’t have the quality to go a whole season and compete with the likes of Chelsea or United.

we all know they cheat. even today when liverpool played them out of the park you could see the 12th man giving everything to utd he could to help out. Fergie the fag bitchin at half time, even david gill in the backround who signs the refs paychecks having his say / fuckin joke.
