Saturday, 6th March 2010
Kick Off : 15:00 GMT
Venue : Emirates Stadium, London
This EPL game will take place at the Emirates Stadium Date on Saturday, 6th March 2010, kick-off set for 3:00 PM. Still shocked by Aaron Ramsey’s injury, Arsenal must continue their battle for the trophy. The Gunners have reignited their hopes with three consecutive wins, but the last time they were in trouble they were unable to repair the damage. The broken leg of midfielder Ramsey at Stoke last weekend evoked the memories of Eduardo’s horrible compound fracture at Birmingham in 2008. After that tragic incident, Arsenal failed to win any of their next four league games and only collected seven points from seven EPL matches to drop from first to third in the table.
Now current Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas believes that his side will not flinch from the challenge. Arsenal can go to the top of the table, however briefly, by goal difference and the players have spoken of their determination to win the league for Ramsey. However, if Arsenal could have chosen their next fixture, it would surely have been this match up. Burnley have been utterly ineffective away from Turf Moor mustering a solitary point on 14 road games.
Arsenal reports changes against Burnley, with Alex Song suspended and Aaron Ramsey injured. Abou Diaby and Andrey Arshavin are back in the lineup.

Burnley hopes that leading scorer Steven Fletcher can play with a cast on his broken hand, while veteran Graham Alexander is expected to return from a five-week layoff.
The strategy for Burnley seems to tray and stop Cesc Fabregas with a personal guard. Clarets boss Brian Laws thinks that veteran Graham Alexander’s return from injury will be just the support his side need at Arsenal on Saturday. Burnley are desperate to bounce back from their home defeat against a broken Portsmouth but, as noted before, have taken just one point in 14 games away from home.
Alexander has missed the last five EPL matches with a calf strain but proved his fitness in a test with the reserves on Monday. Now Laws is ready to give the Scottish international special responsibility to guard and neutralize Fabregas, a player who is 16 years younger than Alexander. Laws said that Fabregas has ample freedom in his Arsenal midfield role. He can be marked but if one takes the eyes off him he’s gone. Alexander will have the “easy” task to avoid missing Fabregas on the pitch.
My prediction: 3-0
