Kick Off : 13:00 GMT
Venue : White Hart Lane, London
This Premier League game between Tottenham Hotspur and Everton will be played at White Hart Lane on Sunday 28th February 2010, kick-off set for 1:00 PM. The Spurs are fighting hard to hold on to fourth place in the table and qualify for the Champions League. The last time they accomplished this feat was in May, 2006. In their last fixture against the Toffees Tottenham managed to squander a two-goal lead and missed an injury-time penalty to allow Everton the final 2-2 draw.
The Everton side have since only lost once in the 12 league matches to slowly get closer to the Champions League chasers. The Spurs unlikely hero in the past week has been attacker Roman Pavlyuchenko. The Russian player has come in from the cold weather and his previously frosty relationship with manager Harry Redknapp has thawed quite a bit after the talented, but laid-back striker finally gained focus and has reaped the rewards of it with four goals in two games.
The Spurs report that Aaron Lennon has an outside chance of returning to the squad but Jonathan Woodgate is still missing, as is Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

Everton informs that Philippe Senderos could be available, but Tim Cahill, Marouane Fellaini and Tony Hibbert are still out of the lineup.
Everton’s rather admirable resurgence this season is illustrated by the pundits and oddmakers giving them small chances of winning the match against the Spurs. That Tottenham is so heavily favoured to win is a singular reflection of what a job, in the eyes of the experts, perennial manager of the season David Moyes has once again fashioned on Merseyside. Interestingly enough, the Toffees good form extends right back to their come from behind 2-2 draw against the Spurs at Goodison Park back in December.
Moyes’ unshakeable confidence in his side never wavers and it didn’t once again during this campaign after a mediocre start to the English Premier League. The hosts of Everton on Sunday would have been far happier to receive them only a couple of months ago. But the Toffees have taken the scalps of Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United in recent weeks and the Moyes has every reason to believe that his players will bounce back from the defeat in Lisboa for the Europa League. Everton will look forward to frustrate the Spurs aspiration to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
My prediction: 2-2
