Kick Off : 20:05 GMT
Venue : Stadio Olimpico di Torino, Italy

The Europa League fixture between Juventus and Fulham will be played in the Stadio Olimpico di Torino on Thursday 11th March 2010, kick-off set for 8:05 PM. Many injuries have eft Juve coach Alberto Zaccheroni short of midfield options so Mohamed Sissoko and Claudio Marchisio could be called to the first squad despite the fact both are carrying some problems. Interestingly enough, Zaccheroni only beat Fulham’s boss Roy Hodgson once during the three tours the 62-year-old spent in Italy in charge of Inter Milan (two times) and Udinese, so he will not be taking Fulham lightly.

“Roy is a very honest person,” the Italian declared adding that his teams are always successful without trying to do too much, they just keep it simple on the pitch. Thus Juventus “should never underestimate him and his team. He was worked hard and has fought hard as a manager.” Zaccheroni watched Fulham when they played Shakhtar Donetsk and considered them to be very strong.
Juventus reports that Gianluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini and Amauri are out because of injury, while Felipe Melo is suspended.

Roy Hodgson arrived on Italy once again and and revealed he would love to return to the Italian Serie A scene. The current Fulham boss has already managed Udinese and Inter Milan and is not ruling out a return to Serie A. Hodgson, 62, will meet Inter’s owner Massimo Moratti next week. But He has a one-year rolling contract at Craven Cottage and insists he is settled in the EPL, having made club history by reaching the Europa League last 16. Fulham’s reward for that achievement is a glamourous tie against a famed Juventus side in Torino on Thursday.

Hodgson said about a possible return to Italy: “You never say never. Why not? If it happens, it happens. You never know what is going to happen in football.” He keeps fond memories of his two spells at Inter which were very enjoyable and filled with good times, most certainly amongst the people who worked there with him. This time though the Fulham fans will be hoping to see their manager focused on the task at hand, leaving aside his dreams of spending the next few years leading any of the big Italian teams now looking for their next season’s coach.

My prediction: 2-0
