Glasgow Rangers face a massive match against one of their biggest rivals Dundee United at 7.45 tonight at the Ibrox stadium.
Victory in tonights game between Rangers vs Dundee and league leaders Rangers would go a whole 7 points clear at the top of the table with Celtic lagging behind in 2nd place. Rangers will have had a game in hand on Celtic but a 7 point gap would still proove to be a massive psychological advantage to Walter Smith’s men as they head into the new year.
Dundee United remain in 4th place and even a win tonight wont affect their league position, however should they pull off a shock win they would just be 1 point behind Hibs who are in 3rd place, with these 2 teams set to battle it out for 3rd position in the SPL.
This should be an excellent match to watch as Rangers look to put on a display against one of their closest rivals who are still a massive 12 points behind them, with Rangers not really have any injury worries heading into this game whilst Dundee have Andy Webster, Scott Robertson, Lee Wilkie and Francisco Sandaza all out through either injury or suspension.
