The former Fleetwood frontman’s wages have skyrocketed over the past few years, rising from around £2,000 per week when he was in non league to £80,000 a week when he signed a new contract in February with Leicester until 2019.
This means that Vardy’s earnings have gone from around £100,000 yearly four years ago to over £4 million a year. Not bad is it?
Jamie Vardy looks like one of the least likely players to leave Leicester during the summer transfer window due to his age, but if the likes of Chelsea or Manchester City swoop for the England international, you can be sure that his wages will be pushed over the £100,000 a week mark.
