England Fans Don’t have much to Thank For…
It’s Thanksgiving Day but i’m sure most if not all England fans feel like there’s nothing to give thanks for, next summer will be deadly boring as England failed to qualify for the Euro 2008 thanks to some shambolic management.
They were so close as they found the strength to draw level 2-2 after Croatia led 2-0 at the interval, the changes made in the second half to bring on Becks and Defoe paid up with Defoe earning a penalty for Lampard to score and Becks with his trademark cross for Crouch to score but it was not meant to be as the Croats decided to do Russia a favour and score the third goal which also meant that Croatia are the first team to beat England both at home and away.
Mcclaren of course was sacked (it’s about time!!!!) and now the hunt for the next amn to be in charge has begun with rumors that the “Special One” is to make a comeback...hmm…
