Saturday, 14th November 2009
Kick Off : 17:00 GMT
Venue : Khalifa Statium, Qatar

England and Brazil face each other at the Khalifa Stadium in Qatar on Saturday at 5pm in what should be a highly entertaining match between two heavyweights of International football.

Many club managers were expectedly annoyed with the decision to play the friendly in Doha at this stage in the season, with the flight taking 7 hours, and many England players already injured or picking up injuries whilst away on International duty.

Frank Lampard is the latest casualty for England, who also have John Terry doubtful, Ashley Cole and Glen Johnson out too, with Steven Gerrard, Aaron Lennon, Theo Walcott also injured too. David Beckham is unavailable to to club commitments of his own.

Fabio Capello has the likes of Michael Carrick, Tom Huddlestone, Peter Crouch, Wes Brown and Stephen Warnock all pushing for rare starts for the friendly against Brazil.

Brazil vs England

Brazil manager Dunga has already led his side to qualification for the 2010 World Cup Finals in South Africa, as has Fabio Capello for England, and both teams will be expected to push to win the trophy in just a years time.

Brazil will be without Fabio Aurelio through injury, and Man City’s want-away playmaker Robinho could be set to miss this match if City have their wishes granted. Brazilian’s Kaka, Daniel Alves and Luis Fabiano are all expected to face England but there will be no place for Milan pair Ronaldinho or Pato.

My Prediction: 2-1
