Italy & Romania have met 14 times before with Italy winning ten of them but after Romania gave France a close ride you wouldnt bet against these underdogs however it has been more than 20 years since Romania last beat Italy (and Roberto Donadoni was in that team). Italy are likely to make changes after their humiliating defeat to Holland, Head coach Roberto Donadoni may opt to bring in Del Piero or Antonio Cassono who both impressed when they came on Daniele De Rossi is also pushing for a place in midfield.
Who will Win it?
I want to wish that Romania can win this one but i dont see it, they just dont have a good enough team to match the Italians for 90 minutes, but if these big competitions have taught us anything then it should be to never count out the underdogs, and they may be worth a flutter but i wouldnt go betting on the last beer in the fridge or anything silly like that.
My Prediction: 3-0 Italy
