Lewis Holtby takes out Howard Webb

Watch as Lewis Holtby of Spurs takes out Howard Webb during Ledley King’s testimonial.

King, who retired last season, gathered a range of past Spurs players to take on the current group, who finished sixth in the Premier League.

In the second half, Howard Webb, who will be going to the World Cup as a referee was dribbling with the ball when Lewis Holtby cynically wiped him out.

Peter Crouch reacted by suggesting that Webb took a dive before Webb went and pushed Holtby, who has spent the second half of the season on loan at relegated Fulham, jovially of course.

The Ledley King XI went on to win 6-3.

Louis Saha led the scoring for the Guest XI with a magnificent hat-trick in the second half with a double from Teddy Sheringham and Ledley himself opening the scoring from the penalty spot.

Emmanuel Adebayor, Nathan Oduwa and Etienne Capoue replied for the current crop of Spurs players.
