Juventus who has now return to Serie A with a new coach in tow has begun the transformation at the club by signing Lyon’s Tiago and Empoli’s Sergio Almiron.

Almiron arrives for £4.7 million. The Argentine played 95 times for former club Empoli, scoring 18 goals.

Juve were forced to part with £10.1 million for Portuguese International Tiago. The 26-year-old midfielder has had an incredible three years, winning the Premiership with Chelsea in 2004/05 and back to back Ligue 1 victories with Lyon thereafter.

Both Tiago and Juventus will hope this trend continues and the Italian giants can cap their return to the big time with immediate Serie A success.
