So Chelsea are appealing the decision to give Didier Drogba and Jose Bosingwa respective bans from European competition. What a surprise.

Didier Drogba, along with fellow Chelsea colleague Jose Bosingwa, have been charged by Uefa, after the pair’s outbursts in the aftermath of the Barcelona game.

United midfielder Darren Fletcher will miss the UEFA Champions League Final after UEFA rejected the appeal against his red card in the semi-final against Arsenal. Barcelona will also have Eric Abidal and Dani Alves missing through suspension after both picked up yellow cards in the clash against Chelsea.
