Manchester United: Negotiations Underway for Paul Pogba

Manchester United: Negations Underway for Paul Pogba

According to reports chief executive, Ed Woodward has begun negotiations that could result in Pogba returning to Old Trafford in a record deal worth £100million.

Despite Juventus wanting to keep the 23-year-old, such a deal would be hard to resist with Pogba earning up to £300,000 a week. The deal also includes between 13 and 15 million euros plus bonuses per year to the players wages.

It was reported that the player has told close friends that he wants to leave Serie A champions, paving the way towards Old Trafford.

Although the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport linked Real Madrid to the Frenchman explaining they are willing to break the £86m they spent on Gareth Bale in order to lure Pogba to Spain, Manchester United are willing to pay much more.

Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has said that both president Florentino Perez and head coach Zinedine Zidane are certain that Pogba wants to move to Bernabeu.

He told BBC Radio 5 live “Real Madrid have basically said: ‘no way we’re going to pay that’ and they’ve abandoned the auction,”

“So I think he’s Manchester United-bound. Did he want to go to Old Trafford and play in the Europa League? I don’t know, I don’t think so.”
