Usain Bolt To Get Trial At Man United

So it looks like its official – the rumours linking Manchester United with the world’s fastest man Usain Bolt have been confirmed and the athlete will join Man United on trial before the start of the new season.

However, at FootyBlog we don’t recommend that anyone looks too much into the trial – Bolt won’t be good enough to play at this level, despite the advantage of being the fastest man on the planet. I’d be surprised if he could play football at any kind of professional level having checked out this video of Usain Bolt playing football.

The signing of Bolt at Man United is likely to provide a huge marketing boost for the club, who have failed in recent years to live up to the financial power of clubs like Manchester City. The pictures of Bolt in a Manchester United shirt would create huge interest in the club, and having him at the training ground will definitely provide a boost to the players at the club.

Unfortunately Bolt is unlikely to play for Man United but it’ll still be great to see him at Old Trafford even if it was just in a cameo role! And who knows, perhaps Dmitar Berbatov could teach Usain Bolt a thing or two about blistering pace!
