Man Utd have missed out of capturing Patrick Viera as Inter Milan confirmed the capture of the enagmatic Frenchman for £6.5m.
The Turin giants bought Vieira, 30, from Arsenal last summer, but players are being sold following the team’s relegation to Serie B as punishment for their role in the Italian match-fixing scandal.
The statement said: “French midfielder Patrick Vieira is officially sold from Juventus to Internazionale for 9.5million euros, payable in three years.”
I don’t understand why United let this chance pass them, Viera would have been a fantastic inclusion to the current squad.
