Beckham Joins The 100 Club

Hate him or love him we ought to respect what David Beckham has achieved in his lifetime, and yesterday he joined a very elite group of people who have made 100 appearances or more in the Champions League, ironically there were only two members in this group before Becks joined in and both are Real Madrid players in Raul and Roberto Carlos.

He didn’t start in yesterday’s game but a appearnce from the bench was good enough to induct him into the 100 club.

Beckham, who has matched the feat achieved by Real team-mates Roberto Carlos and Raul, said: “To be on the list with Roberto Carlos and Raul is an honour.

“They are two great players who have done everything in the game. The Champions League is the biggest club competition in the world, and to reach 100 appearances with Real Madrid after playing so many games with Manchester United is an honour.

Congrats to Beckham and i wish him all the best in the future.
