Chelsea Must Pay Big to Land Leonardo Bonucci

Chelsea Must Pay Big to Land Leonardo Bonucci

In order to seal the transfer of Leonardo Bonucci, Chelsea has supposedly been told to pay around £47million.

Bonucci is a top target for Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who has previously worked with the Juventus defender at both club and international level.

With John Terry’s age and a lack of other options at centre-back, it is no wonder Conte is looking at a player of Bonucci’s ability in that position.

According to Gazzetta dello Sports Chelsea will have to pay out big if they want to persuade Juve to let the 29-year-old leave this summer. To land Bonucci it will take as much as £47m. However, having also been linked with AS Roma’s Antonio Rudiger, they could look elsewhere for cheaper targets.
