Eden Hazard: Chelsea Don’t Want Tottenham To Win Premier League Title

Eden Hazard has admitted Chelsea are desperate to deny their rivals Spurs League victory and help Leicester win the Premier League title.

Recuperated from a hip injury, Hazard scored his first Premier League goals, as Chelsea defeated Bournemouth 4-1 on Saturday consequently moving up to ninth on the table.

The first half of the season showed no signs of Chelsea keeping the title under former manager Jose Mourinho. That being said they can still have a major influence over who wins the Premier League title.

Hazard told Chelsea’s official club website “We don’t want Tottenham to win the Premier League, the fans, the clubs and the players,”

“In football you never know, we hope for Leicester because they deserve to be champions but we will see.

“We have a big game next week against Tottenham and if we can beat them it will be good.”

Meanwhile, following Saturday’s win Guus Hiddink interim manager guaranteed the Blues would do “everything in our power” to defeat Tottenham on Monday.

Hiddink said “We’ll play the next game to win, and the next game is Tottenham,”

“At the end, the strongest team will win the league. And the strongest team is who deserves the league as well.”

Chelsea vs Tottenham takes place on Monday 2nd May.
