I think its a sad day for the Premier League when a player of Emile Heskey’s quality leaves to join the Australian league’s Newcastle Jets… but seriously now, Heskey’s been in and around the Premier League for such a long time it’ll be strange to see him playing in a different league. I think the Australian League is still trying to make a name for itself, probably their biggest coup was the addition of Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero not long back, but for now it seems to be the resting place of many aged Premier League stars. I’d like to wish Heskey luck down under though, be interesting to see how he does.
