Manchester United Lead the Chase for Real Madrid Wonderkid Pedro Ruiz

Pedro Ruiz is being tracked by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, who are looking to step up their pursuit of the 16-year-old player.

Two of England’s biggest clubs have their eye on the Real Madrid striker who has only turned 16 last month following his goal-scoring form for Spain under 16s and Real Madrid this season. The Premier League’s big hitters believe that they can lure the wonderkid into leaving Spain to continue his development in England. That being said, his deal with Real Madrid has the possibility of becoming a profitable professional deal. Ruiz is only likely to leave Real Madrid for a club of similar structure. Manchester united looking to revisit its youth recruitment across Europe are set to be in pole position.

By the end of May, English scouts will be travelling to the Basque country in order to watch Ruiz again. Tottenham, Everton and United are just some of the clubs that will be attending. The centre-forward has been on the radar of Europe’s biggest teams following his appearance in the Al Kass tournament in Qatar in February this year, where his goals helped Madrid’s under 16s get to the finals.

The Madrid region will be represented by the striker in the final phase of the national under-16s. The match between Madrid and Aragon is on 20 May in Durango, this will be the first semi-final. In the same location will be the match against either Basque country or Valencia on 22 May.
