Manchester City have completed the signing of goalkeeper Claudio Bravo from Barcelona in a deal worth 17m.
The 33-year-old represented Real Sociedad for eight years before joining the Blaugrana. He made 32 appearances for Barca in 2015-16, keeping a total of 16 clean sheets.
Bravo, Chile’s most capped player with 106 appearances, recently helped his national side claim the 2016 Copa América title.
The Chileans arrival almost certainly signals the end of Joe Hart’s Manchester City career.
The England number one was dropped to the bench for the opening three games of the season with Guardiola opting for Willy Caballero instead.
Despite Hart making a return to the starting line-up for yesterdays victory over Steaua Bucharest the former Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper is still expected to leave the Etihad before the end of the transfer window.
He has thus far been linked with a move to Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and most recently Everton.
