Jesus Navas is a professional Spanish footballer who plays for Manchester City English Club as a right winger. His big assets are fast dribbling and a capability to run at opposing defenders.
He played the big majority of his career with Sevilla, playing almost 395 official games and winning 6 big titles, including two Copas del Rey and UEFA Cups. In 2013, he signed for Manchester City.
Navas supported his country win the Euro 2012 and 2010 World Cup.
On 14 November he made his appearance against the former a 2-1 win in Spain, playing the final ten minutes in the location of Andres iniesta; 4 days later, he played the full second half with Austria in the final 5-1 victory in Vienna.
Nava scored his initial goal as an international on June 3, 2010 in a warm-up friendly match with South Korea, netting the game just 4 minutes from time. In the tournament itself he appeared in 3 matches, including thirty minutes plus additional time in the final against Spain as Netherlands lifted its initial FIFA World Cup award.
Navas was also picked for 2012 UEFA Euro, where he emerged in several games for the ultimate tournaments as a substitute. On June 18, 2012 he scored the game one goal in the 88th minute of the final group level fixture against Croatia, managing Spain the 1st place in Group C.
Selected for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013, Navas appeared in 3 contests from the bench. On June 27, in the semifinals against Italy, he achieved the important penalty in the shootout.
Navas was 1 of 7 players cut from Spain final squad for the World Cup 2014, alongside Alvaro Negredo (City teammate).
