Ruud van Nistelrooy's Fantastic 4

The Dutch national coach may not want to include him in the team but former Red Devil – Ruud van Nistelrooy showed him what he would be missing as he netted in all 4 goals in Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Osasuna at El Sadar.

RVN has been in sizzling form since leaving Old Trafford and may very well claim the Golden Boot in the Spanish League this season if he continues this fine form as stays fit unlike his main rival Samuel Eto’o who has been ruled out for 5 months.

Ain’t it a little strange though if RVN does win the Golden Boot? that would mean he and Diego Forlan, another Man Utd casualty continued to blossomed in Spain, Sir Alex must be at least a little frustrated, but not too much since Man Utd themselves are on fine form.

To top it all RVN scored 4 against his former teamate at Old Trafford, Ricardo.

The Dutch striker, who joined from Manchester United over the summer, opened the scoring in the 11th minute when he pounced on a rebound after Ricardo spilled a shot by Robinho.

Just 15 mintes later, van Nistelrooy doubled the lead after Robinho lost the ball right into the path of his fellow forward, and the Dutchman made no mistake in dispatching the shot into the goal.

Van Nistelrooy then completed his hat-trick just before the interval by taking a pass from Raúl and hitting a superb effort just inside the post for a 3-0 lead.

Osasuna pulled a goal back in the 64th minute when Valdo beat a lax Madrid defense to head past Iker Casillas, but van Nistelrooy would grab his fourth six minutes from time after slotting home from Emerson’s through-ball.
