Jamie Vardy is an English footballer who currently players for Leicester City as a striker. Vardy has enjoyed a meteoric rise from the lower echelons of English football to being one of the most dangerous forwards in the English game.
Vardy has played for Stocksbridge Park Steels, FC Halifax Town, Fleetwood Town and Leicester City. He was moved up the leagues, from League Two to the Premier League with Leicester City.
Vardy was leading scorer for Leicester City when they remarkably won The Premier League in 2015/16 which saw him receive a call up to the England team. He is believed to be earning £80 000 a week. He has also written an autobiography titled “Jamie Vardy: From Nowhere, My story” and a movie is being made about his incredible rise through the ranks of English football.
He is married to Rebekah Vardy(Nicholson) with whom he has one daughter. Sports management company Key Sports Management LTD manages him.
