So the title decider is here – Man City vs Man United is due to kick-off tonight at 8pm at the Etihad stadium and this match is sure to be watched by millions of people online and on Sky TV.
Manchester United will be hoping to exact revenge following the 6-1 humiliation when Manchester City came to Old Trafford earlier in the season. It is believed that the winners of this local derby will go on to win the league, but I’m not sure if I agree completely as City still have to go to Newcastle who have a lot to play for themselves, whilst United have a tricky match on the last day of the season at Sunderland.
However, the winner of this match, if there is a winner, will undoubtedly be labelled as the winners of the Premier League by the media. All of the momentum will be with the winners, and with just 3 points seperating the two teams, with Man United leading the table, this is sure to be an enthralling game.
Man City’s controversial striker Mario Balotelli is available again to play following a suspension for a red card, but I don’t think he’ll start (unless Mancini is crazy), with Tevez likely to partner Aguero. Meanwhile defender Micah Richards is available to play after recovering from a hamstring injury, luckily just in time for the Man City vs Man United game.
Johnny Evans is in contention after shaking off an injury, but Portugese winger Nani is doubtful after picking up an ankle injury during a training session. Apart from this, both Man City and Man United have a reasonably full strength squad to pick from.
The Man City vs Man United game is sure to be an epic match, lets hope its a good watch and lives up to all of the hype!
