Can’t say I saw this one coming – Dennis Bergkamp is the front runner for the Swansea City position according to Sky Bet. Swansea have been managerless since Brendan Rogers moved on to Liverpool a few days ago, and now Bergkamp, the Ajax assistant manager, has been highly linked with the position.
Bergkamp stated just a year ago that he couldn’t really see himself as a manager due to the time commitment and pressures involved. Presumably he’s not keen on the flying that could be involved too, although Swansea aren’t likely to get in Europe anytime soon so he should’t have too many issues there…
I’d love to see Bergkamp back in the Premier League, even if it is just an excuse to watch moments like this over and over again…

You obviously haven’t heard of the fair play league which Swansea topped and are likely to top again next season..
Nope completely forgot about that, thanks for the heads up! – Looks like Dennis will need to get over his fear if he is to become their boss next season.
Would love to see Bergkamp at the club, would be such a coup for us, it would make up for Liverpool stealing Brendan
Yes come to Wales manage Swansea then move on to take over from Arsene Wenger a few years later! That would be perfect!! He’s a legend
